Cesium Tungstate Applied for Ceramic Microsphere

Cesium tungstate for ceramic microsphere can be prepared by using solid phase reaction. More than a decade ago, researchers have used solid-phase reaction to dissolve the ammonium tungstate and Cs-containing metal salts as raw materials for heat treatment. The heat treatment is processed under the mixed atmosphere of H2 and N2 (volume: V (H2)/V (N2) =95 /5) at 550°C for 1h. And finally high temperature treatment at 800°C in an N2 atmosphere is needed to obtain cesium tungstate material. Moreover, at the time, the thin film of cesium tungstate with good near-infrared shielding property was put forward for the first time.

As you may have known, the solid phase reaction is a common physical and chemical phenomenon in the high temperature process of solid materials. Broadly speaking, any chemical reaction involving solid phase can be called a solid phase reaction. The high-temperature solid phase reaction method means that the reaction temperature of the solid phase reaction is generally higher than 600°C. The high-temperature solid-gas phase reaction method is a relatively traditional method for preparing powders. Usually, some reducing and inert gases are introduced on the basis of the solid phase method to improve the performance of the product. Such methods generally have the disadvantages of low efficiency and coarse powder with impurities, but also have the advantages of large output and simple preparation process, so it is still a relatively common method.
