Ø50x300mm tungsten alloy rod has very high melting point and a density twice that of steel is more than 50% heavier than lead. Due to its high density, tungsten alloys offer greater radiation shielding than lead and is non-toxic. It is electrically and thermal conductive and offer good corrosion resistance. It also has a low coefficient of expansion and a high modulus of elasticity.
Because of these unique properties, Ø50x300mm tungsten alloy rod is used extensively in military applications, balance weights, aircraft components, nuclear and medical shields, fishing and sport tackle, rocket components, tool vibration dampers, electrical contacts, etc.
