The special technology of functionally gradient material (FGM) of SiC/Ni P system has been explored through the study of the Ni P SiC composite film by electroless composite plating. The microstructure, morphology and composition of SiC/Ni P FGM have been investigated by means of optical microscopy, electron probe microscopy analysis (EPMA) and TEM.
