Ultrathin tungsten wire may be prepared by electrolytic method. And the ultrathin tungsten wire with a diameter of less than 7μm is the main raw material for wire array Z-pinch experiment.
Ultrathin tungsten wire with a diameter of 3.0μm may be prepared by electrolytic process. The effects of electrolyte temperature, electrolyte mass fraction, electrolytic voltage and spinning ratio on the tungsten wire are studied. And scanning electron microscope, atomic force microscope and universal dynamometer are used to test the diameter, morphology and tensile strength of the prepared tungsten wire.
The results show that the corrosion rate of tungsten wire increases with the increase of electrolyte temperature, electrolyte mass fraction and electrolytic voltage, and decreases with the increase of spinning ratio. Electrolytic voltage and spinning ratio are the main factors affecting the corrosion rate of tungsten wire. Corrosion rate and system friction are the main factors affecting the thinness of the tungsten wire.
