F-doped Cesium Tungsten Bronze Applied for Thermal Insulation Dispersion

F-doped cesium tungsten bronze for thermal insulation dispersion has better near-infrared shielding performance than cesium tungsten bronze, so it is highly valued by experts. In order to study the effect of the order of hydrofluoric acid (HF) addition on the structure of F-doping cesium tungsten bronze, Experts used two different raw material mixing sequences to prepare F-doping cesium tungsten bronze:

XRD patterns of F-doped cesium tungsten bronze prepared by using HF as fluorine source with different adding order

1.0 Firstly, mix HF with tungstic acid for a period of time before adding citric acid, and finally adding cesium carbonate;
2.0 After mixing citric acid with tungstic acid for a period of time, add HF and finally adding cesium carbonate. The following figure is XRD patterns of F-doped cesium tungsten bronze prepared by using HF as fluorine source with different adding order, wherein HF was added in an amount of 0.11.

From the figure, we can see that the prepared F doped cesium tungsten bronze is hexagonal structure cesium tungsten bronze Cs0.32WO3, and the peak shape and peak position are very close whether HF is added before or after citric acid. Therefore, the order of addition of HF and HF to the precursor fluid did not cause too much change in the crystal structure of the cesium tungsten bronze.
