WO3 Electrochromic Film Applied for Thermal Insulating Glass

WO3 electrochromic film for thermal insulating glass can be prepared by electrophoretic deposition. Experts say that the obtained tungsten oxide film has extremely high response speed and large coloring efficiency. And it is low in cost. It is reported that many experts have adopted this method to conduct research on tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin film.

For example, some experts have studied the effect of standing time of sol on the surface morphology and electrochromic properties of tungsten trioxide film. WO3 film prepared by electrodeposition with the configured precursor standing for 48h has a higher Li ion diffusion coefficient than the film prepared by electrodeposition immediately after the sol is configured. And the surface of the former exhibits a grape-like structure. For another example, an expert has prepared a WO3 film on the surface of a Ti substrate by electrophoretic deposition. Some experts have successfully prepared WO3 films containing various metal oxides by electrophoretic deposition method, and compared their electrochromic properties with pure WO3 films. While what should be noted is that the adhesion of tungsten oxide thermal insulating film prepared by the electrophoretic deposition method to the substrate is weak, so that it is easy to lose electrochromic properties.
