Tungsten Trioxide Applied for Dining Room Thermal Insulating Film

Tungsten trioxide for preparing dining room thermal insulating film is often doping an element to produce a tungsten bronze structure, which in turn exhibits broadband near-infrared (NIR) absorption properties. And the developed general structure of tungsten bronze materials is MxWO3, where M = Cs, Rb, K, Na, and NH4.

According to the experts, the MxWO3 materials are tungsten bronze type compounds. And they are also known as NIR-absorbing photothermal materials (PTMs). So, the tungsten bronze materials are attracting more and more attention. And the utilization and preparation of common PTMs such as MxWO3 are reported and the preparation techniques, photothermal conversion properties, and recent progress in their applications, including those in NIR shielding, water evaporation, pyroelectricity, photocatalysis, energy-related devices, and gas sensors are highlighted. Due to its broadband NIR absorption properties, CsxWO3 prepared by doping Cs into tungsten trioxide is mainly applied to prepare the dining room thermal insulating film – a new type of heat shielding film with high heat insulation and heat preservation performance.
